Please help! Back in September 2024 there was an update that knocked my keyboard and touchpad into permanent tablet mode regardless of how the laptop was adjusted. I took it to a computer shop, and the only fix was the disable the Intel Integrated Sensor Solution, this seemed to work. Fast Forward to March 2025, another update was pushed and I again have lost the ability to use the permanent/connected touchpad/keyboard and must use an external set (or use the touch screen).
I have attempted several times to disable the sensor above but it does not impact the usability. Keyboard and touchpad are fine in BIOS.
Please Help!

Hi @KMG9,

I understand you're experiencing an issue with the keyboard and touchpad on your Laptop after a recent windows update.
I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, I'm here to help you today.
Perform a power drain on your PC.
1) Unplug the power cord from the PC & wall.
2) Disconnect the power cable from the AC adapter if it is a detachable part and keep it aside.
3) Press and hold the power button down for 15 seconds and release the power button, wait for about 30 seconds.
4) Plug the power cord back into the AC adapter, then connect it to the wall and to the charging port on your PC.
5) Power on the PC and wait for the PC to boot into Windows now.
Kindly refer to the steps on this link to update the BIOS and let me know if that resolves the issue.
Make sure you keep only the charger plugged in while updating the BIOS for your PC.
