Product: OMEN by HP Laptop 15-dc0xxx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hey, 

I have tried to update the Intel Chipset Installation Utility and Driver a few times but it always fails. I am updating through the HP Support Assistant app, which I am lead to believe is the best way to update my laptop. 

It is version 10.1.16.6. 

Apparently there haven't been any other updates released since this version. Or am I not seeing anything due to the fact that this driver needs to be updated first?

Hi, Luke:

 

There is a newer version than that one on the Intel support site.

 

You may want to use that one instead.

 

Version: 10.1.18 (Latest)   Date: 11/28/2019

Then I would just ignore the HP Support Assistant update, and click on the little trash can next to it if it shows up again.
