I have a brand new HP notebook (model 15-da0133tu, Win10 Home v1803). I used the supplied HP Support Assistant to check for updates. I successfully updated the BIOS to version F.07.
I then attempted to install the Intel Chipset Installation Utility and Driver (SoftPaq sp92813 v 10.1.17695.8086).
My machine blue screened while it was installing!
I've not tried to install any of the other updates suggested by HP Support Assistant because the blue screen has shaken my confidence.
It's pretty disappointing that I can't rely on HP to supply rock solid updates via HP Support Assistant 😞
Should i just ignore all the other suggested updates in SA, or shuld i just assume that a brand new machine sould be "good to go"?
Thanks
