Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi everybody,

I just bought a new Laptop Probook 450 G6, after installing all the drivers from official HP page it still does not respond on the brightness control buttons.

Tried to install it via HP Support Assistant - the result was like "successfully installed", but in Device manager, it still says "Microsoft default video adapter".

Next one I used Intel Driver & Support Assistant to automatically download the drivers than it starts to install.

All the described below starting again independently on what version of drivers I try to install.

- Loading the driver install for about a 30-40 secs and than tells me that "this version of driver doesnt not support this type of hardware".

Dude, really? I use a auto detect program to download it. Seriously.

Tried to find and download it manually by the name of graphic UHD 620 as from the HP site & Intel support center - still same issue.

And for now I DO NOT HAVE OPERATING brightness control on laptop.

Hi:

You will need to update Windows 10 to a newer version, such as 1903.

Your notebook's graphics adapter hardware version is newer than v1607, and no drivers support it.

That is why nothing works.

If you look at the latest Intel graphics adapter driver, it tells you what versions of W10 are supported by the driver, and 1607 ain't one of them.

Supported OS versions

Microsoft Windows® 10-64 - Fall Creators Update (1709)(RS3)

Microsoft Windows® 10-64 - April 2018 Update (1803)(RS4)

Microsoft Windows® 10-64 - October 2018 Update (1809)(RS5)

Microsoft Windows® 10-64 – May 2019 Update (1903)(19H1)
