Hi:
Here is the latest W11 driver I could find for the Tiger Lake processor controllers:
18.7.6.1010
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp143501-144000/sp143727.exe
The above driver is for W11 22H2, so hopefully it will also work on 22H3.

You're very welcome.
The only thing I can suggest is to try this:
Go to the device manager.
Click on the Intel RST VMD managed controller 09AB device needing the driver.
Click on the driver tab.
Click on Update driver.
Select the 'Browse my computer for drivers' option and then at the bottom of that window, select the 'Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer.'
Click on Have disk and browse to: C:\SWSetup\sp143727\src\driver\iaStorVD (setup information file), select the Intel RST VMD Managed Controller 09AB device, and hopefully the driver will install that way.
You can manually explore that file folder now, before you try and update the driver and you will see the driver has support for that hardware ID in the iaStorVD setup information file.
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9A0B.DeviceDesc = "Intel RST VMD Controller 9A0B"
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_09AB.DeviceDesc = "Intel RST VMD Managed Controller 09AB"

Hello again, i really appreciate your help so thank you. I tried what you suggested and device manager said the best driver for this device is already installed, but there is not driver installed. Under properties it still says no drivers are installed for this device.

If you're looking to update the Intel RST (Rapid Storage Technology) VMD (Volume Management Device) managed controller driver on your HP Envy x360 convertible laptop, you can follow these general steps:
1. Identify the Current Driver Version:
- Press Windows key + X and select "Device Manager."
- Expand the "Storage controllers" section.
- Look for the Intel RST VMD managed controller, right-click, and select "Properties."
- Navigate to the "Driver" tab, and note down the current driver version.
2. Visit the HP Support Website:
- Go to the official HP support website (support.hp.com).
- Enter your laptop model (HP Envy x360 15m-Ed1013dx) in the search bar and navigate to the support page for your laptop.
3. Locate the Driver:
- Look for the "Drivers" or "Driver - Storage" section on the support page.
- Find the Intel RST VMD managed controller driver. Download the latest version available for your laptop.
4. Download and Install:
- Download the driver to your laptop.
- Run the downloaded file to install the new driver. Follow on-screen instructions.
5. Manual Installation:
- If the installation doesn't start automatically, you might need to manually install the driver.
- Go back to the "Device Manager," right-click on the Intel RST VMD managed controller, choose "Update driver," and select "Browse my computer for drivers."
- Locate the folder where you downloaded the new driver and follow the prompts to complete the installation.
6. Reboot Your Laptop:
- After the installation is complete, it's a good practice to restart your laptop to ensure the changes take effect.
Note: Always ensure that you are downloading the driver from the official HP support website to avoid compatibility issues. If there's a specific version of the driver you need, check the release notes on the HP support page to confirm that it addresses your requirements.
If you encounter any difficulties or uncertainties during this process, it's recommended to reach out to HP support or their community forums for assistance. They may provide specific guidance based on your laptop model and the driver version you're looking for.
