My wireless n 7260 doesnt appear on my device manager (photo is when i click on show hidden devices) and cannot detect wireless network but lan works fine. tried to uninstall it and restarted my laptop but now i cannot locate it to have it reinstalled. tried to scan hardware for changes and such, no luck. 

 

tried to reset network both in settings and cmd. no luck

 

im desperate.

Hi:

 

Since it is pretty easy to get to where the card is located, turn off the PC, unplug it, remove the battery, remove and firmly reseat the wifi adapter.

 

Sometimes the contacts get oxidized and the electrical contact is broken.

 

If you can, leave the antenna wires attached to facilitate an easy reinstallation.

 

That would be the only suggestion I can offer, since you already tried the only other thing I could think of to do.

thank you, Paul. i will try this. i’m just in the middle of resetting the laptop cause im running out of options 🥲 but if the reset doesn’t work, i’ll definitely do this and will update you if either of it worked. thanks again. stay safe!
