If I buy a HP laptop from certified online store who only provides 1yr limited-parts and labour warranty, how can I obtain an international warranty for that product?

Hi,
You automatically get international warranty BUT normally, when claiming warranry, you need to send your machine back to the country where you bought it. Local HP offices may help you if they have parts otherwise they have to send back to where you bought it. Please read more:

Thanks for the answer and the links provided. if I claim my warranty from another country and need to send the machine to where I bought it, do I need to spend the courier charges my own or are local HP agents responsible for that?

Hi,
Normally HP will send you a pre-paid box/envelope, you don't have to pay. You have to wait for instructions otherwise your machine may go to a jungle.
Regards.
