I have an HP Stream laptop that I purchased used. It has continually asked me to update, but then tell me there isn't enough memory. I just ignored the update requests.
Today i had started up my computer after not using it for several days and there was a password set for the intro screen - which i had not set - and the name is "John Doe." Not only did I not set the password, but now I have no Idea how to bypass it to actually get into my computer to reset it. Please help.
Thank you

Welcome to the HP Forums!
Thank you for posting your query on this forum, it's a great place to find answers.
I reviewed your post and I understand that you need helps with the Windows password.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
As you have mentioned that the password is not set by you and it is a used computer which you purchased, our only option here is to perform a reset on the computer and put it back to the original factory state.
Follow the steps in the below article to perform a reset on the computer.
