Product: HP Pavilion x360 - 14-dh1026ne

So I downloaded an app called iobit for some gb but by mistake I changed some settings and one of the setting is hide username so when I restarted the laptop it says put a User name or email and when I put them it says its wrong and now I can't open mu laptop pls help I got school tomorrow

Sorry, but we have no information on non-HP apps, so we have no way of knowing how to undo the damage you did with this app.

 

Your only recourse is to use another PC to see if the app vendor has a support forum and post your issue there.

 

And in future, if you do not know what an app will do, them make an image backup of your PC to a USB stick ahead of time -- so you have something to restore FROM if the app corrupts your PC.

Thank you for your assistance. I have since performed a complete reset of my laptop and it is now functioning properly. I appreciate your help in resolving this issue.
