It has M.2 slot for M.2 NVMe SSD which is also suitable for Optane device.
If I was you, I would NOT do that, I would directly add M.2 NVMe SSD say 500GB or 1TB and move Operating system and programs/application to it. Machine will have dual storage with better option.
You can use Crucial P2 series, Samsung 970 EVO series or similar. One example
