As the tittle suggests, I am inquiring whether it is safe or not to enable my VT to optimize performance in an android emulator. After spending some time researching, there appears to be conflicting arguments whether it is safe or not. Would it harm my laptop if it enabled? Thanks in advance.

Hi:

It depends on what you mean by 'harm your laptop.'

There are only security risks involved, and for the most part, unless you leave your PC running 24-7, those risks would be rather low.
