Envy Laptop 15-ep0xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Just as Microsoft screams developers developers developers! I scream bug reports and community, so I figured I would dive into the brilliant minds of the community and pose this question. On the laptop (product Envy 15-op0xxx) when it boots up, it does not realize that the laptop screen is closed and defaults the screen to the one on the laptop vs the monitor I have plugin in via HDMI and set in windows as default.

This is how laptops work -- because when it first boots up, there are no drivers loaded to enable it to see the external screen, so it DEFAULTS to the internal screen.  There is no way to change this to have the external screen display before the Window drivers are loaded for it.
