Dear HP Support Team,

I am experiencing an issue with the OMEN Gaming Hub on my HP OMEN laptop. When I attempt to update the software, I receive the following error message:

"Problem encountered when downloading update package. Please ensure you have a stable network connection and try to download and install the package from here." And I have tried going to the website and it tells me not found also.

Despite having a stable internet connection, I am unable to complete the update. I have tried the following troubleshooting steps without success:

Restarting my internet connection
Closing and reopening OMEN Gaming Hub
Attempting a manual update from the provided link
Restarting my laptop
Checking for Windows updates
I would appreciate any guidance on resolving this issue, as I rely on the OMEN Gaming Hub for system optimization and performance control.

Here are my system details:

Device Model: OMEN by HP Laptop 16-b0068nia (60H77EA)
Operating System: Windows 11 23H2
OMEN Gaming Hub Version: Latest

It looks like you're encountering an issue with updating the OMEN Gaming Hub on your OMEN 16-b0068nia laptop. Since the provided update link is not working, and you've already tried basic troubleshooting, let's try the following steps:

Possible Solutions:

Reinstall OMEN Gaming Hub

  1. Uninstall OMEN Gaming Hub from Settings > Apps > Installed Apps.
  2. Open the Microsoft Store, search for OMEN Gaming Hub, and reinstall it.
  3. Restart your laptop and check if the issue persists.

Reset the OMEN Gaming Hub App

  1. Open Settings > Apps > Installed Apps.
  2. Find OMEN Gaming Hub and click Advanced Options.
  3. Click Reset and confirm.
  4. Restart your laptop and try updating again.

Manually Download OMEN SDK and Gaming Hub

  1. Download and install the OMEN Gaming Hub SDK Package from the official HP website:
  2. Reinstall the OMEN Gaming Hub from the Microsoft Store.
  3. Restart and check if the update works.

Check Windows App Permissions

  1. Open Settings > Privacy & security > App permissions.
  2. Ensure OMEN Gaming Hub has access to the internet.
  3. Try updating again.

Run Windows Troubleshooter

  1. Go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other Troubleshooters.
  2. Run the Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter.
  3. Restart your laptop and retry updating OMEN Gaming Hub.

Check HP Support for Updates

  • Go to HP Software & Drivers
