Hi,

I have an issue with SD cards from SanDisk,  I have tried Ultra, Extreme SD cards 32-128GB, but my system does not recognize these. I have Latest BIOS, Drivers, etc...

The fun part is that SD cards from other manufacturers are accepted and work well and as expected..

My system seems to be very busy, as seen in Task manager, and the specific SD card, it is very busy, but no read write actions...  my system responds very slow/not to shutdown or other commands.

No issues with other cards

anyone have the same experience??

Best,

Hi,

It is possible that you laptop doesn't support  the SanDisk sd you tried

I tried different Cards, 16, 32, 64 and 128 GB.. first I had supreme cards, and also tried the Extreme versions. Those did not work either...
funny thing is that cards from other brands did work (Samsung, Adata, ) in various sizes did work..  A Samsung Pro Plus 128GB works like a charm.

the system is capable of handling cards up to 200 GB according to the specs...

("Micro SD media reader slot: Supports microSD, microSDHC, microSDXC, supporting expansion up to 200 GB")

So I think it should support

I am wondering if there are any differences in SD Card architecture, hardware, etc.... on the SanDisk SD Cards.

Is there an issue with the internal card reader??

Any takers???
