I wanted to update the drivers for my system, but I noticed that I can’t choose Windows 11, only 10, although I updated from the official Microsoft website, and the laptop fit all the requirements, what could be the reason?

Hi:

HP probably hasn't gotten around to releasing W11 drivers for that model series yet.

Windows 11 should have installed all of the drivers you need, so unless something is not working correctly, I would leave well enough alone.

The only suggestion I can offer if you want to install a driver for something that may not be working properly would be to use the W11 drivers from the slightly newer 15-dk1000 model series.

Do not use any of the BIOS or firmware files though.

I wanted to update the BIOS, but I saw that for Windows 10 of the latest revision and Windows 11, different BIOS versions are installed and they came out at different times.

Here is a photo of a friend who has Windows 11 and it is possible to update it from the site and there is a bios version of F. 27 Rev. And I chose Windows 10 version2004 and there is F.60 Rev.A

And they are not compatible.

Hi:

You can't compare your notebook with that of your friend's.

His notebook as an AMD processor and uses an entirely different BIOS.

Yours has an Intel processor and the latest BIOS revision is F.60.

There is nothing newer than that.

You can only install a BIOS update that is listed on your notebook's support page.

Microsoft Windows 10 version 1903 (64-bit)
Microsoft Windows 10 version 1909 (64-bit)
Microsoft Windows 10 version 2004 (64-bit)

I have an HP notebook (15-ee0047nr) running W11, and there are only drivers for W10.

I updated the BIOS to the latest version on W11, but the version was written to be run on W10.

It worked.

If F.60 doesn't install for you unfortunately, I have no idea why it doesn't, and I don't recommend you pursue the matter.

At the moment I have version F50. for 18.08 2021 you can take and upgrade to F60.?

The update was written to be run on Windows 10.

If you want to take a gamble that it will also work on W11, that would be a decision only you can make

As I wrote earlier, I took a gamble and updated my notebook's BIOS on W11, when it was written to be run on W10, and it worked out well for me.
