Hi @sm1581974,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

Thanks for the details. Here's how to handle Microsoft Office 2024 Home Edition activation on your HP 15.6" Laptop PC 15-d5000 (4V9Y3AV):

1. Check the Packaging or Email

If Office 2024 Home was pre-installed or bundled with your laptop:

  • Look for a card or sticker in the laptop box labelled "Microsoft Office Product Key".
  • If purchased digitally, check your email inbox for a message from Microsoft or the retailer.

2. Check Microsoft Account

If Office was activated before:

  • Go to Sign in
  • Sign in with the Microsoft account used during setup.
  • You’ll see your Office license listed there, and you can reinstall or manage it.

3. If No Key Was Provided

HP often ships laptops with a trial version of Office. If you didn’t purchase a full license:

  • You’ll need to buy a license from the Microsoft Store or a trusted retailer.

I hope this helps.

Take care, and have an amazing day!
