HP Spectre x360 Convertible Laptop PC 14-ea0000 (1Q877AV)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Using my Spectre x360 14 2021, the last available drivers for WiFI and Bluetooth off HP support assistant are 22.120.xxx so I installed intel drivers through their own application and installed the latest 22.210.xxx drivers. The drivers work fine but I noticed the intel software used (intel driver support assistant) to install the drivers causes severe keyboard lag. e.g. When turning up the volume, it will increase smoothly, then hover around a percentage for a second then carry on. Or when I hold a key down in notepad, the key will rapidly repeat itself, until a few seconds, then just randomly stop, stutter for a second then continue. I'm very sure its the intel software causing the issue as this has happened on both windows 10 and 11 for me only after I have installed the software.

I want to use the software to keep to install the latest drivers as HP have not updated their pages since 2021 but I don't want this keyboard issue to come back as it affects everything from typing normally to just simply turning the volume up and down. Anyone else experienced this issue? And any work arounds.

Thanks
