Microsoft Windows 11

Done all the above troubleshooting from this link https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Software-and-How-To-Questions/HP-Envy-x360-m6-Convertible-Key... but same problem. Keyboard and touchpad won't work in windows but works fine in bois and after a flesh installation of windows. But after some update it stops working

Hi @donxcary,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused don’t worry let me help you.

To better understand the issue, could you please provide a few more details?

  • Which specific Windows updates or driver updates seem to trigger the problem?
  • Does the keyboard/touchpad stop working immediately after the update, or only after a restart?
  • Have you noticed if external USB keyboards/mice continue to work when the built‑in ones stop responding?

Here are a few more things you can try:

  • Roll Back Drivers
In Device Manager, check under Keyboards and Human Interface Devices. If you see a driver update applied recently, try rolling it back to the previous version.
  • Disable Automatic Driver Updates
Sometimes Windows Update installs drivers that conflict with HP’s recommended versions. You can temporarily disable automatic driver updates and manually install drivers from HP’s support website for your exact model.
  • Install HP Support Assistant Updates
Run HP Support Assistant to check for system‑specific driver and firmware updates. This often provides more stable drivers than Windows Update.
  • Run Hardware Diagnostics
Use HP PC Hardware Diagnostics (press F2 at startup) to test the keyboard and touchpad. If they pass, that confirms it’s a software/driver issue rather than hardware failure.
  • BIOS Settings Reset
Enter BIOS (F10 at startup) and reset to default settings. Sometimes touchpad/keyboard functionality can be affected by firmware configuration

I hope this helps.
