Hello,
Last week i bought the HP OMEN 15-ce081nd gaming laptop.
I bought it to mainly use it for games such as Fortnite.
On this new laptop my character sometimes freezes ingame as my WASD keys get 'stuck'.
This happens around every 15 minuts. Sometimes when im walking (shift+W) and sometimes when im building in that game, while hitting keys like WASD + SHIFT + CONTROL + X + C + F in a high ratewhile tapping some at the same time.
Its frustrating and it ruins my gaming experience with the HP OMEN.
I searched alot on Google to find a solution. Its not because of my ingame settings, because i use the same settings as on my old Asus.
I cant wait to hear a solution.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for taking an interest in the HP Support Forums After reading your post I see that your keyboard gets stuck while playing games. I will be a delight to assist you here.
Superb analysis and brilliant diagnosis of the issue before posting. 🙂 Kudos to you on that score.:)
For better clarity and to assist you better I would require more information regarding this:
- Are you experiencing the same issue when you type in a document or when not playing any games?
- Did you try any troubleshooting steps before posting on forums?
Meanwhile
Update the driver from device manager
- In Windows, search for and open Device Manager.
- In the list of devices, look for Audio and expand the list
- Right-click the driver and select Update Driver Software.
- Click Search automatically for updated driver software.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to install the updated driver.
- Restart your computer to complete the installation of the updates.
Run a test on the keyboard to check for hardware failures:
-
Turn on the computer.
-
Immediately press the f2 key repeatedly, about once every second, until the UEFI menu opens.
When the UEFI menu opens, select the diagnostic test you want to run, and then follow the on-screen instructions.
For more information on using the UEFI diagnostic tools, refer this link: http://hp.care/2yTWjBQ
Let me know how it goes.
Cheers.

Hi There,
I did do some troubleshooting, googling on the internet to find solutions and people with the same problem. But i have not been able to find a solution yet..
I do not get the same problem when typing (havent noticed it yet).
I only play 1 game and it just happened again so its not over yet (updated all my drivers through HP command center.
I did download the HP tool and checked my keyboard (pressed all the keys and they turned green, then klicked finish) and got this code: QC54W4-92892G-MFPURA-G1PE03
