Hi @Shailodin,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you're experiencing issues with the keyboard and touchpad on your HP Pavilion x360 when transitioning from tablet mode to normal mode, there are several troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the issue. Here's a list of potential solutions.

Restart your laptop: Sometimes, a simple restart can solve temporary glitches. Make sure to restart your laptop and check if the issue persists.

Update drivers: Ensure that your keyboard and touchpad drivers are up to date. You can do this by going to the official HP support website, entering your laptop model (HP Pavilion x360 -14-dh1179tu), and downloading the latest drivers for the keyboard and touchpad.

Windows Update: Make sure your operating system is up to date by installing the latest Windows updates. Sometimes, Microsoft releases updates that include fixes for hardware-related issues.

BIOS/UEFI update: Check if there's a BIOS or UEFI firmware update available for your laptop. Updating the system firmware can sometimes address compatibility issues.

HP Support Assistant: Use the HP Support Assistant tool that comes pre-installed on HP laptops. It can help you identify and resolve common issues with your system, including driver updates.

Device Manager: Open the Device Manager on your laptop, locate the keyboard and touchpad entries, and try updating their drivers from there.

  • Press Windows Key + X and select "Device Manager."
  • Find the keyboard and touchpad entries, right-click on them, and choose "Update driver."

Check Power Management settings: Ensure that your keyboard and touchpad are not set to be turned off to save power. Navigate to Device Manager, find the devices under "Keyboards" and "Mice and other pointing devices," right-click, select "Properties," and check the Power Management tab.

Tablet Mode settings: Check the Tablet Mode settings on your laptop. Open the Action Center (bottom right of the screen), and make sure Tablet Mode is turned off.

Reset power settings: Reset your power settings to default. You can do this by going to Power Options in the Control Panel and selecting the default power plan.

Perform a system restore: If the issue started recently, you can perform a system restore to revert your system to a previous state when everything was working fine.

Always ensure you have a backup of important data before performing any major updates or system changes.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
