HP Spectre X360

I just rec’d my 2 in 1 X360 today.

On the box label it shows Windows [8]? The box is still sealed. Am wondering what the 8 stand for? Am confused with 8?

Can someone please tell me it’s NOT WINDOWS 8??

The brackets around the number might indicate that there are (perhaps) numbered notes somewhere on the box that provide details about "Windows".  Even if the notes are missing from the box - "bracket-8-bracket" does NOT designate a Windows 8 OS.

No, a brand new, sealed in box, recently manufactured computer (any brand) does not have Windows 8 installed on it.
