Hi @Geetanjali34,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

To set a charging limit on your HP Victus laptop, you'll need to access the BIOS/UEFI settings and navigate to the Power Management or Battery Health Manager options.

1. Access the BIOS/UEFI:

  • Restart your laptop and repeatedly press the key that accesses the BIOS/UEFI (usually F2, F10, or Esc). The specific key varies depending on your model, so refer to your laptop's manual if needed.

2. Navigate to Power Management:

  • Once in the BIOS/UEFI, use the arrow keys to navigate to the Advanced or Configuration tab.
  • Look for options related to Power Management, Battery Health Manager, or Adaptive Battery Optimiser.

3. Choose your charging limit:

  • Maximize my battery health: This setting limits the charging to 80%.
  • Let HP manage my battery charging: The system will automatically adjust charging based on usage conditions and temperature.
  • Maximize my battery duration: The battery will charge to 100%.

4. Save and Exit:

  • After selecting your desired option, press the appropriate key (usually F10) to save the changes and exit the BIOS/UEFI.

Important Considerations:

Not all HP Victus models offer the same level of battery management options in the BIOS/UEFI. Some models may have limited or no control over charging limits.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
