@Cas41, Hello and welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for posting your question. I'm here to help you get things back on track.
Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you reinstall and reactivate the Bluetooth driver on your HP 15s-fr5005TU laptop running Windows 11, especially after it was lost due to a very low battery:
Check Device Manager for Bluetooth
- Press Windows + X and select Device Manager.
- Look for Bluetooth in the list.
- If it's missing, it may be disabled or the driver is corrupted.
- If it's listed with a yellow triangle, the driver needs attention.
Reinstall the Bluetooth Driver
You can download the latest Bluetooth driver from HP official support page:
- On the page, let HP auto-detect your device, or manually search for HP 15s-fr5005TU.
- Select Windows 11 as your OS.
- Under Driver-Network, look for Bluetooth drivers (usually from Intel or Realtek).
- Download and install the latest version.
- Restart your laptop after installation.
Enable Bluetooth Again
- Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices.
- Toggle the Bluetooth switch ON.
- If the switch is missing, go back to Device Manager, right-click your Bluetooth adapter, and select Enable (if disabled).
Optional: Use HP Support Assistant
HP Support Assistant can automatically detect and install missing drivers:
- Download it from HP Support Assistant | HP® Support
- Run the tool and check for updates.
I hope the information shared has been useful and resolves your concern.
Wishing you a smooth and hassle-free experience ahead!
