@Cas41, Hello and welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your question. I'm here to help you get things back on track.

Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you reinstall and reactivate the Bluetooth driver on your HP 15s-fr5005TU laptop running Windows 11, especially after it was lost due to a very low battery:

Check Device Manager for Bluetooth

  1. Press Windows + X and select Device Manager.
  2. Look for Bluetooth in the list.
    • If it's missing, it may be disabled or the driver is corrupted.
    • If it's listed with a yellow triangle, the driver needs attention.

Reinstall the Bluetooth Driver

You can download the latest Bluetooth driver from HP official support page:

Official HP® Support

  1. On the page, let HP auto-detect your device, or manually search for HP 15s-fr5005TU.
  2. Select Windows 11 as your OS.
  3. Under Driver-Network, look for Bluetooth drivers (usually from Intel or Realtek).
  4. Download and install the latest version.
  5. Restart your laptop after installation.

Enable Bluetooth Again

  1. Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices.
  2. Toggle the Bluetooth switch ON.
  3. If the switch is missing, go back to Device Manager, right-click your Bluetooth adapter, and select Enable (if disabled).

Optional: Use HP Support Assistant

HP Support Assistant can automatically detect and install missing drivers:
