I have two accounts on my computer. An Administrator account that requires a password, and a gust user that doesn't require one.
When I login with the Admin account, every thing starts out well. System boots up, all aps lode up on the screen, and the aps on the task bar lode up then all at once the screen will flash off then back on and start loading up again!
When I login in with the gust user everything works OK. No problems. I just can't access many of my files that are in the Admin login.
Why does the computer keep restarting on the Admin login?
There used to be a way to start Windows where you could watch each step of the login process as it loaded so you could see where the problem was. I can't find that procedure on this computer if it's in Windows 10.
Need HELP!!

This is NOT a Password problem!! The password works just fine.  After all the aps and the task bar aps have loaded and the computer has loaded up is when the screen goes blank and restarts.  The whole sequence starts all over again.  I don't have to login again, the screes just starts loading all the aps again, the task bar aps load up, the internet aps logs on, the computer pauses then starts all over again.  iT WILL JUST KEEP LOADING UP AND RESTARTING AS LONG AS I LEAVE THE COMPUTER ON!!

Hello @BillyDo

Try loading Windows into Safe Mode. This is a special mode where only most essential services and drivers load - skipping non-essential stuff and some 3rd party apps.

While in Safe Mode, try loading into your Admin account and let me know if the safe thing happens in Safe Mode.

How to load in Safe Mode :

  • Press and hold the power-on button of the PC, hold it for 5-6 seconds until your PC powers off completely
  • Wait for a while and press the button again to start the machine
  • Immediately begin pressing repeatedly the Esc button
  • HP Start up menu should come up >> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GSN0qzXayUY
  • From the menu choose/press F11
  • Windows recovery environment should appear
  • Choose Troubleshoot.

On the Troubleshoot screen, go to Advanced options -> Startup Settings.
Depending on your Windows 10 computer, you may not see this option at first. If you do not, click or tap the link that says "See more recovery options."

  • Finally, select Startup Settings option.

Windows 10 says that you can restart your device to change advanced boot options, including enabling Safe Mode. Press Restart.

  • After Windows 10 restarts one more time, you can choose which boot options you want to be enabled. To get into Safe Mode, you have three different options:

    • Standard Safe Mode - press the 4  number key or the F4 key on your keyboard to start it

So, once in Safe Mode, can you login to Admin account and use it without issues , without unexpected restarts ?
