Hi. I recently bought a hp envy 13 laptop and it's been almost 4 months since I've started to use it. What I need to know is about its battery life. I am now able to use it for 6 hours. And I am able to use for less hours than that when browsing and gaming. I'm not much worried about it cause 6 hours is not bad but I just want to clear my doubt. Before I bought the laptop, I saw I some websites which said that this laptop can stay for 11 hours or 8 hours. Is 6 hours the usual battery life for hp envy 13 or are there any steps to increase the battery duration?

There is no "typical" battery life because lots of factors contribute to battery drain, including such simple things as screen brightness and searching for WiFi connections. Remember that when you are running on battery, virtually everything you do uses some battery power.
