My new hp dq 1040wm not detecting usb 2.0 pendrive on usb 3.0 port and it is also missing  in disk management. But detects mouse, keyboard and my mobile with usb 2.0 data cable. Pendrive also works fine on other laptops. I don't know if any driver is missing or not. Help!20201018_102058.jpg

You need to press F10 while rebooting to get into the BIOS/UEFI settings and once there, look into USB devices and see if there is an option about legacy USB and see if that is disabled.  IF so, enable it and reboot.  After that, your laptop should be able to see the USB 2x devices.
