Product: HP 250 G5 Notebook PC (ENERGY STAR)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a 250 G5 laptop and I just purchased a replacement battery, my power adapter is an HP and fairly new.

The problem I'm having is that it will only charge when the screen is down either turned off or in sleep mode but won't charge when the screen is on

http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03397760 this link I found doesn't exist and I tried the command prompt to restore default schemes. What else can I try?

Any help is appreciated
