Hey
When i started using my laptop it would overheat while beeing idle and doing nothing.
I contacted HP support and after a while they replaced my cpu cooler and it seems to fix the problem.
Today the laptop is working just great when not connected to charger\docking station.
the seacond i connect it to power the fan runs extremely loud and cpu reaches 100 degrees when idle and on a cooling surface.
I assume theres a bios feature that makes my laptop work faster\better when connected to power, i wish to turn it off.
I know other laptop manufacturers uses a feature called "hybrid charging" but i did not find it on my bios
Or, maybe we could limit the cpu poewr consumption\speed to 70% only when connected to power?
anything that will prevent it from overheating\going loud
I use it for music production and the fact that its going loud is very problematic.
thanks!
