Hey Onurcal. Thank-you soooooo very much. I too searched lots of forums and tried different operating systems, disabled wake-up events. even disabled the Ralink RT3290 Wi-Fry Adaptor amongst disabling other Devices in Device Manager and still had no joy. It just would not stay shut down, would not sleep and would not hibernate always restarting after a few seconds until the very moment I took out the Ralink RT3290 Wi-Fi card.
I am so pleased cos this has been taking up a lot of my time trying different things and everyone seems to be blaming Microsoft. Now it's time to find a new Wi-Fi / Bluetooth card.
