I have an HP probook core i5 laptop running on window 8 OS. My problem is that the laptop cannot detect my android phone as such, I cannot transfer files from the laptop to my phone vice versa. Please what is the solution to this problem?

Sorry, but that's a fairly typical problem -- and it's due to your PC NOT having the driver needed to see and mount the Android phone -- and HP can do nothing about that, as we don't provide any Android phone drivers.

I ran into a similar issue with my Samsung phone -- and solved it by going to their support forum, downloading, and installing their Mobile Phone drivers.

You will need to check with your Android Phone manufacturer to get the drivers needed.
