So it was July of this year, I was playing video games on my laptop when all of a sudden, it froze. No biggie, laptops are bound to do this eventually and I went to turn it off and turn it on, but when I tried to turn it on, the laptop fan spinner but didn’t boot (this only happens when the laptop is plugged in) and I removed the charger and it worked. I’ve tried everything like recovering bios update and even replacing the charger but those only worked for a few days so I’m hoping I can fix this, maybe I need a new ram stick?

@Mono2good Does that mean it worked for a few days when an alternate adapter was connected? And Did you check with an alternate wall outlet and/or remove the surge protector?
Please try the above steps and if the issue persists, try the below steps too:
Using the AC power adapter
With proper use and care, your AC power adapter will recharge the notebook battery and provide power for operating the notebook for extended periods. Read the section below for information on the proper use and care of your AC power adapter.
