If these are large files, how are you confirming that the individual downloads are in fact, complete, before attempting to unzip them?

I download using the Opera Browser, and it changes the appearance of .ZIP and .RAR files when their downloads have been completed -- indicating to me that it's OK then to expand them.

Also, what Browser are you using to download these files -- Edge? Because if so, you need to serious consider using something else as Edge continues to have issues.

I use Chrome as my browser but use Internet Download Manager as an extention of downloading these files IDM always tells me when files are finished downloading.I have been using it for two years with no issues I dont know how this problem started but its recent. I even tried rebooting my PC thinking its malware but the problem still persists

I don't use Chrome anymore in Win10 due to problems I had with it, and I don't use download managers -- so I can't help you there, sorry.

All I can suggest is trying the downloads with different OSs, possibly Internet Explorer and/or Firefox, and trying them without using the download manager.
