I would like to know which is the latest available bios version for the pavilion dv5-1145ev and where i can get it.

Hi:

 

HP retired support for your notebook's model series since it is more than 10 years old.

 

The last BIOS update HP released for your notebook was F.21

 

The update is only designed to be run in Windows 7 or Windows Vista.

 

Updating the BIOS using any other operating system could permanently and irrevocably damage your PC.

 

Here is the link to the cva file which provides some information about the BIOS update.
