Why is it that the latest version of HP Support Assistant (9.20.22.0) does not work on ALL Windows 10 PCs, but the previous version, 9.14.42.0 works perfect?
I am a computer repair technician and I cannot get the new version to work on Windows 10 PCs.
I get errors every single time I try to install it.
The worst part: Microsoft Store automatically updates the previous version to the new version, which is a Universal App and it fails to work as well.
This has been going on for months. Will it ever be fixed?

My machine uses Version: 9.21.30.0 yours is only 9.20.22.0. Please update it. Hope this helps.

I reinstalled Windows 10 on a 2017 HP zBook workstation laptop that was $2,600 new.
I was able to install HP Support Assistant from HP's website.
Microsoft Store updated it to version 9.22.14.0 (which means you cannot get the latest version to install first - you have to update post-install).
Shocking. Doesn't want to work on other systems but works on this one.

I performed a CLEAN install Windows 11 22H2 on October 17, 2022 due to some popups from nowhere for few months and I could not find it even SEP did not help.
I Get HPSA from Windows Store, ran few Windows updates. I only use this machine for HP Forum

HPSA not available in the Microsoft Store. I search for it any find nothing. Google search shows a result, but unable to download.
HPSA failed to install on 4th-gen Intel EliteDesk desktop and 8th-gen Intel with Windows 11.
After installing an older version that always works, Microsoft Store auto updates to a version that's even newer than the one on HP's website and this happens:
