Have just downloaded latest Realtek HD audio drivers (http://whp-hou9.cold.extweb.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp80501-81000/sp80538.exe) which deleted old app and installed this latest. however cannot now find how to access this app.

there is an HP HD audio driver on my control panel but no mention of it on my apps toolbar, whereas old version was there.

Had been trying to find B&O system which I believe has been superseded , saw on HP forum that this download was latest version of Realtek and would like to get best music from the PC.

Do you have audio now and is the issue with accessing the audio app alone?

 

Try installing the latest driver using this link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-envy-17m-bw0000-laptop-pc/20283133

Had problems going thru numerous HP detection sires and not sure how but I now have

 

on my control panel    Realtek HD Audio Driver   401 MB 6.0.1 8656

arrived on 30th July 19       

seems a fairly new download  NOW   how can I access this to,hopefully, arrange my PC audio system to my own desires.

 

Raj   sorry if seems longwinded but I am not sure how I actually got here.

Are you getting audio on the computer?

 

Here is the Latest Audio Driver click on this link: https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp92501-93000/sp92549.exe to download the driver.

 

Once downloaded, install the driver.
