The second:

If you need more info than that, let me know.

Thanks.

Hi there,

I don't know if these are installing properly. They download and run fine, but after I click Next and so forth and they finish extracting the files the window just vanishes and nothing else happens. The mouse makes that "loading" kind of icon for a second or two, but that's it. I let this happen for both files, assumed they had installed, and rebooted.

Both unknown devices are still present in Device Manager.

Sorry for the trouble, let me know what to do next.

@VeryCoolGuy

For now keep uninstalling the USB devices and rebooting.

Ok, so I uninstalled the two Unknown Devices and they've since disappeared. I also uninstalled the rest of the grey USB controllers and now get this:

This seems like progress, since one of them is now solid and has a problem icon, but let me know what I should do next.

Thanks for all the help!

Just wanted to bump this. The ports still aren't working but it looks like the problem is slowly becoming clear?

Also, after a reboot things have changed yet again.

Here's the current USB Controller look:

Sorry for the delayed response but I had to ship 3 different orders out today.  "13,750 laptops total"

I need a original.gif

I think this should be the last push.

Thank you for giving me time to respond.

Post the hardware ID's for the last ones left.
