Hello HP,
I've had my new HP envy 15 (10750h, 16gb, 2060 max-q, 4k OLED) for a couple of days now and everything has been to my liking, but there is one thing that bugs me. The performance on the laptop is great but it gets pretty loud on default mode, and on silent mode it's really silent but it has like 1 fifth the performance. I was wondering if i could set a custom profile that has the fan running a couple rpm's lower than default mode under load but doesnt instantly drop to 20% performance. I'd be fine with 80% performance and a little more silent fans but there is no such option.
Is there anything you guys can do for me?
Thanks in advance,
Sjoerd

@Sjonko Welcome to HP Community!
I understand that you are getting noise from the laptop.
I have a few recommendations:
-
Updating your Notebook computer BIOS
-
Keeping notebook air vents clear and clean
-
Increasing the efficiency of the notebook to reduce heat
-
Using Windows Task Manager to identify corrupt processes
-
Selecting power saves settings to shut off your computer when it is not in use
