Linking Meta to my Laptop

So, I have a HP Laptop 14 and I was trying to connect my Meta Quest 3s to the laptop using the Meta Quest Link software, but when I try it never lets me. It doesn't even pop up in the Meta as a possible connection. Do I have to get an actual computer or is there a way around and I just haven't found it?
