UPDATE: S Mode was blocking Xbox Live From Opening On My Laptop, That's Why Things Weren't Working.
I have been having issues getting into a Minecraft account. My other laptop, the one I'm upgrading from, the one that supposedly works slower and more tedious than this one is doing quite the opposite. The laptop I have switched to is much slower, processes stuff like a snail, and acts as if its a 10 year old laptop that has come from the depths of the library in 2006. This is a brand new laptop, let me make this clear, it was not a hand-me-down and I just got it out of the box.
Even though it claims the processing speed is faster and that the chip has better multitasking skills I don't see any of it and I am tired of messing around and would rather just switch back to my old laptop and bring this one back. I have been locked out of the xbox app which says it is unable to open, and is stating that it is my microsoft account that is the issue, but microsoft is saying that xbox is the issue, but my original laptop is saying neither are the issue and both are working just fine. See the issue here? Even my phone is having zero issues which leads me to believe it is the new laptop that is the issue. My account will not open and all buttons saying "Sign In" do not work, nothing happens, I've waited some very long twenty minutes for things to happen and nothing does, I'm locked out of it.
I want to switch my xbox account from my microsoft(the one it automatically connects to, I always have to switch it to the right one) to a connecting account that is a branched off account from my main, but everything is upset over me having two different accounts, when again, this email isn't really an email, it is a paper tiger, it can't do anything, it's only ability is to access minecraft and even xbox live is connected to it through my main, it has never been an issue before, why is it an issue now?
I can't just use my microsoft account because years ago my sister put me in a family safety group and has since lost access to that account, I have no way of being able to use Minecraft with the microsoft account unless I want to play by myself, and I am apart of several servers, so no. I have filed several complaints and have even looked for ways to prove that I'm not a child, but there is no option to show your license/ID, so I can't. That's why I use the branched-off account, it's easier and it's still apart of my account, so I don't have to worry about it. But, now I have literally no way of getting to that account or switching to it because xbox says that it needs to be refreshed every single time I open the app. There is no way that this is an issue with me, my HP Stream 11 has no issues with it, only my HP Laptop 17 has issues.
Everything seems to be having issues and I really think I just picked up a piece of dog crap at this point. I'm returning this if I don't get a solution soon. This laptop is the bane of my existence.
Has anyone had similar issues, if so, did you end up fixing it? How?
