My HP Computer does automatic software updates upon shut down. When I tried to login today the screen allows me to put in my password then pops up a screen that SimplePass wants to Confirm Windows Password. It then has a place to enter New Password and Confirm New Password. When I enter a password I get the message SimplePass cannot validate the password that you entered. Check password and try again. I do. When I click on Forgot Password nothing happens. I cannot get to anything except the power icon.
There is information on google about SimplePass being biometric fingerprint. I do not have a biometric finger scanner on my laptop. Help
