Product: Compaq Presario C500
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Hello the community!

I received a Compaq Presario C500 (C563TU) yesterday, currently running Windows 10 32-bit after some nice cleaning and upgrades. Since I don't trust newer generic drivers and Windows Update (probably), I wonder if someone can provide links to the latest HP drivers written for my specific model, especially for the chipset ( I don't see any chipset drivers on third-party websites), Windows Vista or 7 drivers should be fine at all. Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks!

Hi:

 

HP retired support for your notebook since it is over 10 years old.

 

HP only supported your notebook for Windows Vista and Windows XP, which are the only drivers that exist for it.

 

For any devices that may need drivers, you should be able to use the Vista drivers for it from this reputable 3rd party website.

 

Compaq Presario C500 drivers (driverscollection.com)

 

You may need to manually install the drivers from the device in the device manager if the auto install method doesn't work.
