Where can I find an updated bluetooth driver for my HP Pavilion dV7 4283 laptop. The HP website isn't any help.

I don't see a separate HP Bluetooth module or a combination Wi-Fi/Bluetooth adapter listed in the parts list.

 

This specifications link indicates your notebook did not come with built in Bluetooth:
