Hi,
2 days ago Windows installed "HP Inc. - Firmware - 15.7.0.0" and something has changed in the fan speed algorithm. It keeps high speed of 4800 RPM when CPU\GPU are at 60-65C. Laptops sounds like a vacuum cleaner without any need.
Before the update it kept ~3500 RPM and was 70-75C under load, it what was perfect for me - a good balance between noise and temperature.
Is it a known issue? Is there a wat to return to the old fan speed behaviour?
