Hello HP forum,
here I am again. I have messed around with my energy settings, trying to optimize my notebook, make the battery last longer. Anyway, it seems that I ruined something and I have no idea what. I was trying to fix it for the past hour and I can´t find any clues.
So the problem is following:
CSGO and other games have VERY low fps. Im talking about <5 fps. When I take a look at task manager, it says the GPU´s at 100% utilization. Before, it was running at about 40 fps, which I was happy with. But 5? It´s impossible to play anything like that.
I am suspecting that an energy setting is limiting the GPU somehow, I can´t find anything like that though. It´s an Nvidia GeForce GTX 850M, which is, unlike the integrated graphics, not listed in the advanced energy settings.
The power cord is hooked up. I made everything so that the Laptop is giving full capacity when on cord. But thats not the case.
Best wishes
