Hi @Ayus_atit-11

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

I understand how disappointing it must feel to lose access to your Microsoft 365 subscription after resetting Windows. You’ve already taken the big step of reinstalling the operating system, and I appreciate the effort you’ve put in.

Let’s go through the process together to restore your included Microsoft 365 offer so you can get back to using it smoothly.

Step 1: Sign in with the Correct Account

  1. Open any Office app (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  2. If prompted, select Sign in.
  3. Use the same Microsoft account that was originally activated with your laptop.
    • This is usually the account you used when first setting up the device.
  4. Once signed in, Office should automatically detect your subscription.

Step 2: Check Subscription Status

  1. Go to Microsoft Account Services.
  2. Sign in with the same Microsoft account.
  3. Under Subscriptions, confirm that Microsoft 365 is listed as active.
    • If it shows expired or missing, the subscription may not have been activated earlier.

Step 3: Reinstall Microsoft 365 Apps

  1. Visit Download and Install Microsoft 365.
  2. Sign in with your Microsoft account.
  3. Select Install Office and follow the instructions.
  4. After installation, sign in again to activate.

Step 4: Verify Windows Activation

Since the subscription is tied to your device setup, ensure Windows is activated:

  1. Press Windows + I to open Settings.
  2. Navigate to System > Activation.
  3. Confirm that Windows shows as activated.
    • If not, connect to the internet and allow activation to complete.

Step 5: Use HP App for Support Tools

  1. Open the HP App from the Start menu.
  2. Go to Support > Troubleshooting > Diagnose & Fix.
  3. Run the scan to ensure no system issues are interfering with Microsoft 365 activation.

By following these steps, you should be able to restore your Microsoft 365 subscription and continue using the apps included with your laptop.
