WHENEVER I OPEN NEW MCROSOFT WORD DOCUMENT, BY DEFAULR IT OPENS IN LANSCAPE MODE AS A RESULT I AM FACING PROBLEM IN DOING MY WORK. I HAVE TRIED SEVERAL TIMES TO RECTIFY IT BUT FAILED. PLEASE DO THE NEEDFUL TO RECTIFY THE ORIENTATION OF THE PAGE IN PORTRAIT MODE.

Try this:

1. Open Microsoft Word and create a Blank document.
2. Go to the Layout tab on the ribbon.
3. Click the small arrow at the bottom-right of the Page Setup section.
4. Or select Margins → Custom Margins.
5. Under Orientation, select Portrait.
6. At the bottom of the window, click Set As Default.
7. Select All documents based on the Normal template, then click OK.
8. Close Word completely and open it again.

Create a new blank document to confirm that it now opens in Portrait orientation.
