Hi @kuttymon,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Sorry for the inconvenience caused don’t worry let me help you.
To better understand the issue, could you please provide a few more details?
- Did Office come pre-installed on your HP notebook, or did you activate it yourself?
- Are you getting any error messages when you try to open Office or reinstall it?
- Which version of Windows are you currently using after the update?
In the meantime, here are a few troubleshooting steps you could try:
- Check if Office is still installed: Go to Settings → Apps → Apps & features and see if Microsoft Office is listed.
- Use the Office installation link from HP: Many HP notebooks with pre-installed Office have a recovery option via the HP Support Assistant. Open it and check under My devices → Software & drivers → Microsoft Office.
- Sign in to your Microsoft account: Go to Microsoft office services and see if your Office license is linked there. You may be able to reinstall it from your account.
- Repair Office: If it shows up in apps but won’t open, select it, click Modify, and choose Quick Repair (or Online Repair if that doesn’t work).
I hope this helps.
