My SD card reader (HP calls it a "media card reader") cannot read any of my SD cards that I verified working with another computer. Not only that, the card reader makes it extremely difficult to remove the card, there is no springiness or any sort of release mechanism.
What's the hardware and firmware for this memory card reader? I want to check if it's software-related before I open up my new laptop to replace hardware.
