I was playing my game until it suddenly crashed, after a while I went to chrome and when I tried to open up a tab it said "low memory." When I went to find out how much memory I had on task manager it said i have used 5.7 of 8 GB, I was confused because I just bought this computer and only downloaded 1 game.
Any idea how to fix this?

What is called MEMORY is a piece of hardware that is typically 4GB or larger. That is not affected by installing software or games because nothing is installed in MEMORY.
Then there is Disk Space -- and that is the room on your disk drive where applications, including games, get installed. Downloading and installing a game will use up disk space but it will not generate the error message you saw.
Next time you get that message, when you go into Task Manager, select the Processes tab and click the Memory column to sort that, putting the tasks using the most memory at the top. That will tell you what is using up the most memory. If you have a lot of stuff being loaded at Startup, that will limit the amount of memory you then have available for gaming. So, you might have to disable some of those tasks.
