Microsoft Office Home and Student 2019 activation problem

HP Recommended
Spectre x360 15t
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Recently I have bought HP Spectre x360 15t through Amazon. However, when I try to active Excel of Microsoft Office Home and Student 2019 a message says the specified Product Key has already been activated the maximum number of times permitted for your software license as specified in the Microsoft Software License terms, etc

@Kaphmingliana

Depending on the type of license, you are limited to the number of computers for which the license is allowed to be activated at one time.  This is a restriction employed by Microsoft.

Try

Activate Office using the Activation wizard

Includes “Activate after reinstalling or moving Office”

Things that are Office

Microsoft Office is a licensed product controlled and owned by Microsoft.

We can help to the extent of providing information to help you understand your options.

Installation and License Key Options

Some of the ways to “get” Office Software:

  1. Trial Software that comes with the computer.

An "offer" to try the software, in other words.  The license is NOT included in Trial offers.

  1. Purchase Microsoft Office when you purchase your computer

Look for your license key with your purchase paperwork.

  1. Receive a “free one year subscription to Office 365 when you purchase the computer (quite rare).

If you have trouble with this exact type of “installed” Office before it has expired,

Contact HP Support for recovery options.

  1. Purchase Office separately from Microsoft or other merchant.
